A fantastic bakery and cafe - one of the best cheese and ham toasties ever - fabulous bread and really tasty cheese and proper ham. Coffee excellent too, and most ingredients are locally sourced. Wonderful!

Fabulous place the food is incredible the bread is delicious and the staff are very friendly they do great wine & food tasting evenings a definite must !
Fab food and service, I love the place. The staff is very pleasant too. Today I so enjoyed the Hot Tomatoes on Sourfough, with a drizzle of olive oil and half a feta crumbled on top. It was delicious. Thank you The Mamars team, a great place for good food at a reasonable price, and a cosy café with lots some sweeter bites as well 🙂

I chose this place for lunch as an alternative to the abundance of chain and fast food offerings in Warrington town centre expecting to get good food from a craft bakery. I hate to leave a negative review but what I got in the cafe fell well short of my expectations even though the cheese, deli and bread for out sales looked excellent.
I chose home made vegetable soup with bread expecting to get a delicious homemade soup with crusty sourdough bread. What I got was a big bowl of puréed vegetables resembling baby food, bland with very little taste only made tolerable by my adding copious ground black pepper and salt, accompanied by two rounds of ordinary sliced white bread - what a disappointment!
On a Tuesday lunchtime there were only a couple of other diners. None of the staff took the trouble to come to my table and enquire if I was happy with my food or if I wanted anything else, although they were personable enough when I went to the sales till to order, and pay my bill, although I would add that I had sat at my table initially in a near empty cafe for several minutes expecting someone to come and take my order which disappointingly didn’t happen.
As I’ve said the cafe was nearly empty, which didn’t help the rather dull atmosphere of the place and maybe on another day with more diners it would seem livelier. The staff did seem wholly occupied with the behind counter bakery activities and counter sales.

Called in on a Saturday around 1130hrs. The place was busy but managed to get a table.
Ordered Hot tomatoes & a flat white. The coffee was nice & smooth, the tomatoes were delicious.
I have had bread & cheese off the Deli before which is also excellent.
Will definitely be returning 👌👌

Visited this wonderfull Bakery and Cafe for lunch on 10 January.
We received a warm friendly welcome and was shown to a clean comfortable table.
The menu was very inviting and it was easy to choose something tempting to eat. We both chose home made sour doe bread with smashed avocado and crumbly Lancashire cheese. It was delicious. Our drinks were earl grey tea and sparkling water.
My friend bought one of their home made breads to take home.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
We will definately recomend and return.
Many Thanks.

Had been meaning to try this place for a while. All food cooked fresh and lots of baked goods and bread made in house. Unfortunately they didn't have any soup or specials given it was a bank holiday but very friendly staff, good coffee, decent portion sizes and had games to keep the kids occupied

I am a ten year old boy and visited Mamars with my Mum and my Dad on Saturday at lunch. It was the first time and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We were given the menu and we took a seat outside. When the waiter came they gave us good drinks and food recommendations. We had the charcuterie board carefully prepared even with chorizo made into the pattern of a rose and was served quickly to us. They explained what everything was on the plate and every bit about it was immaculate. The sourdough and oil was also excellent. All the staff were so polite and kind. Plenty of seating and lovely atmosphere with a handy bike rack just outside. Lots of choice on the menu and will definitely go back.

I would recommend visiting Mamars.

Been nipping to this beautiful little place in the morning while on maternity. Absolutely wonderful, the bread freshly made right in front of you and is just delicious. I only nip in for a coffee and a chill out but you can't help but buy some scrumptious breakfast. There is just so much quality in the ingredient that is used. Such a wholesome place and I love it.

The BEST sourdough bread ever.
I buy a large one every time I’m in there and it is delicious.
Sonia and Amy are really lovely girls and from day one of walking into their original shop they have always welcomed us warmly.
Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Good breakfast.

Service basic, lacks engagement

Coffee is not great. Burned milk and overpriced in my opinion.

Pantry and bread amazing

Came here this morning as we were looking for a little cafe that did breakfasts, and we were not disappointed! The staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have had for a long time. The price was brilliant also for the quality of food we had!

I came upon this little gem of a deli/bakery on a trip back to Warrington. Lovely, warm, cosy, inviting place. The smell of freshly baked bread hits you as you walk through the door and it’s a great place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Staff are really lovely and food is gorgeous. They even have bread and pasta lessons and gourmet evenings. It’s at the front of the new arcade near NatWest Bank. You must try it💕 Tartiflette special was my favourite but breakfast was really good too!

A lovely deli and café.
I called in on Saturday for a late breakfast and a coffee. It was without doubt one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had in years. High quality ingredients and plenty of toast made from their gorgeous home baked bread, all served by the lovely staff.
A great selection of cheeses, meats and bread in the deli counter.
Looking forward to my next visit!

‘The Hive Arcade’ in Town centre is going to be a very swanky place when all the little shops for small business are complete….. a breath of fresh air that Warrington needs….
Whilst passing this coffee shop in Town, we noticed a plaque advertising ’Burtonwood Coffee Company’.
All for supporting local businesses, so we popped in and bought 2 bags of coffee beans. The smell from each bag, was something else! Plenty of people in, pop in and have a Brew, it’s also in ‘The Hive Arcade’…xxx❤️

I've visited Mamars a few times and have always been impressed by the excellent food and the attentive, friendly service. The environment is cozy, perfect for leisurely meals.

Unfortunately, there are no plug sockets available for charging devices, or else it would be an ideal spot for occasional remote work.

During a recent visit with my two-year-old daughter, I appreciated the kitchen accommodating my request for a smaller portion of scrambled eggs on toast for her. However, I was surprised to be charged the full adult price of £5.50 for a half portion (one slice of bread and one egg) without being informed of this at the time of ordering. Additionally, a very small portion of milk was priced at £1.50.

While I enjoy Mamars and its offerings, this pricing structure makes it challenging for families with young children who may not need full portions. Particularly as there are equally nice alternatives nearby where children’s options are offered as standard.

As much as we love the place, it will be a while before we can consider visiting again.
The best sourdough bread you will ever purchase will be from here !!!

Sonia and Sarah hosted my husbands 70th birthday bash here.
They arranged for some amazing food, drink and arranged the room to allow for our guests, and Sonia knew a pair of blues guitarists who played for a couple of hours, and really lent the right atmosphere to the venue.
Food was great, service was great, I could not have asked for better.
Thanks everyone!
