POP UP PIE AND MASH NIGHT – Thursday 27th June

Who doesn’t love a pie?!?!? But there’s a pie and an Artisan Pie.  We are now working with Elliot who created an award winning Braised Short Rib Beef & Ale pie for The Horseshoe Pub in Croft.  His pies will soon be available from Mamars on a regular basis but we thought we might try something just a bit more for all the Pie Foodies out there and have a Pie and Mash night!  It will have two tea time/early evening sittings (look out for confirmed timings) and you can come and enjoy your pie (we have a Cheesey Dauphinoise vegetarian alternative too) with mash, peas and a beef of mushroom (V) gravy.  Prices for the pie meal are set at £12.50.  Elliot is bringing some other goods for you to buy and try, either eating in or take away and Mamars will be open too for any extras including drinks – we are of course licensed – to wash your pie down with.  What a great way to launch this young man’s foodie career whilst stuffing your face! It’s the first time Mamars has allowed baked products from outside our bakery on to the shelves too but we’ve done our due diligence and can confirm that everything is made from scratch using traditional methods and elevated to artisan standards and offered at great value for money – just what you have come to expect from Mamars.  Comfort in every bite!
